OnionIngestor, ThreatIngestor टूल संरचना पर आधारित है ताकि Cyber Threat Intelligence टीमों के लिए मॉड्यूलर और विस्तारणीय पहुँच सक्षम हो सके, जिससे वे tor नेटवर्क पर छिपी साइटों की जानकारी मॉनिटर और एकत्र कर सकें।

OnionIngestor 3 महत्वपूर्ण प्रकार की क्लासेस को चलाता और प्रबंधित करता है: Sources - ये pastebin, twitter, gist जैसे clear net स्रोतों और क्रॉल किए गए लिंक से छिपी साइटों को एकत्र करेंगे Operators - ये onion लिंक को प्रोसेस करेंगे। उदाहरण के लिए html प्राप्त करना, स्क्रीनशॉट लेना और onionscan जैसे अन्य स्कैनर चलाना Notifiers - ये उपयोगकर्ता को सूचित करेंगे - प्रतिदिन एक रिपोर्ट के साथ और यदि किसी मॉनिटर की जा रही छिपी साइट में कोई नया परिवर्तन हुआ हो

onionscan द्वारा webapp चलाने के लिए
परिणाम का आउटपुट json होता है, और उसी प्रारूप में इसे चयनित syslog को भेजा जाता है।
