uBlock Origin (uBO) 是一款面向 Chromium 和 Firefox 的[广谱内容拦截器][Blocking]，对 CPU 和内存的占用都很高效。它默认使用 [EasyList][EasyList]、[EasyPrivacy][EasyPrivacy]、[Peter Lowe's Blocklist][Peter Lowe's Blocklist]、[Online Malicious URL Blocklist][Malicious Blocklist] 以及 uBO [过滤列表][uBO Filters] 来拦截广告、追踪器、挖矿脚本、弹窗、恼人的反拦截提示、恶意网站等。此外还有许多其他列表可用，以拦截更多内容。uBO 也支持 hosts 文件。uBO 使用 EasyList 过滤语法，并[扩展][Extended Syntax]了该语法以支持自定义规则和过滤器。
如果你认为 uBO 拦截过多，可以轻松取消勾选任何预选的过滤列表。作为参考，Adblock Plus 默认仅启用 EasyList、ABP filters 和 Acceptable Ads。
需要特别指出的是，使用拦截器**并非**[盗窃][Theft]。不要被这种荒谬的想法蛊惑。`blocking = theft` 这种论调的_最终_逻辑推论，就是将不可剥夺的隐私权定为犯罪。
广告，无论是否“非侵入式”（unintrusive），都只是你访问大多数网站时进入浏览器的隐私侵犯手段中可见的部分。**uBO 的首要目标是帮助用户消除这些侵犯隐私的手段**，同时让那些不愿使用更技术性方法的用户也能轻松上手。
