CallStranger

이 스크립트는 CallStranger (CVE-2020-12695) 취약점을 확인하기 위해 Yunus Çadırcı (https://twitter.com/yunuscadirci)가 제작했습니다. 공격자는 이 취약점을 다음과 같은 목적으로 사용할 수 있습니다.

CallStranger 취약점

수십억 개의 UPnP 장치에서 발견된 CallStranger 취약점은 데이터를 유출하거나(적절한 DLP/경계 보안 수단이 있어도) 네트워크를 스캔하거나 네트워크가 DDoS 공격에 참여하도록 만드는 데 사용될 수 있습니다. 취약점 – CallStranger – 는 UPnP SUBSCRIBE 함수의 Callback 헤더 값이 공격자에 의해 제어될 수 있어 수백만 개의 인터넷 노출 및 수십억 개의 LAN 장치에 영향을 미치는 SSRF와 유사한 취약점을 가능하게 합니다. 이 취약점은 다음과 같은 목적으로 사용될 수 있습니다.

DLP 및 네트워크 보안 장치를 우회하여 데이터 유출
수백만 개의 인터넷 노출 UPnP 장치를 증폭 반사 TCP DDoS의 소스로 사용(https://www.cloudflare.com/learning/ddos/ssdp-ddos-attack/ 와는 다름)
인터넷 노출 UPnP 장치를 통한 내부 포트 스캔 가능한 해결 방법:
특히 인터넷 노출 장치/인터페이스에서 불필요한 UPnP 서비스를 비활성화합니다.
인트라넷 및 서버 네트워크를 확인하여 UPnP 장치(라우터, IP 카메라, 프린터, 미디어 게이트웨이 등)가 데이터 유출을 허용하지 않는지 확인합니다.
네트워크 보안 로그를 평가하여 이 취약점이 위협 행위자에 의해 사용되었는지 확인합니다.
ISP/DDoS 보호 업체에 문의하여 솔루션이 UPnP SUBSCRIBE(HTTP NOTIFY)에 의해 생성된 트래픽을 차단할 수 있는지 확인합니다. 이는 프로토콜 취약점이므로 공급업체가 패치를 제공하는 데 오랜 시간이 걸릴 수 있습니다. 자세한 정보, 영향을 받는 장치, 소프트웨어 및 업데이트를 확인하려면 https://callstranger.com 및 https://kb.cert.org/vuls/id/339275 를 방문하십시오. CallStranger 디렉토리로 이동하여 Python3로 실행하십시오(Windows 10에서 Python 3.7.5, Kali 2020.2에서 Python 3.8.2로 테스트됨). 현재 서브넷 스캔 및 테스트:

스크립트 작동 방식

LAN에서 모든 UPnP 장치를 찾습니다.
모든 UPnP 서비스를 찾습니다.
모든 구독 엔드포인트를 찾습니다.
이 엔드포인트를 UPnP Callback을 통해 암호화하여 검증 서버로 전송합니다.
모든 암호화는 클라이언트 측에서 수행되므로 서버는 이 엔드포인트를 볼 수 없습니다.
검증 서버에서 암호화된 서비스 목록을 가져와 클라이언트 측에서 복호화합니다.
발견된 UPnP 서비스를 검증된 서비스와 비교합니다.
