
CVE-2021-32537에 대한 PoC: Windows 커널에서 풀 손상을 유발하는 경계를 벗어난 메모리 접근.
이 버그는 2021년 4월 초 Realtek에 제보한 내용입니다. 영향을 받는 드라이버는 RTKVHD64.sys이며, 다양한 주류 하드웨어에서 사용 가능한 것으로 보입니다 (아래 하드웨어 구성에서 테스트했지만 더 많은 장치가 취약할 수 있습니다):
Realtek으로부터 이 취약점이 패치되었고, 수정 사항이 Windows Update를 통해 배포된다고 들었지만 직접 확인하지는 못했습니다. 이는 Taiwan Computer Emergency Response Team에서 발표한 문서입니다: TVN-202106002 / CVE-2021-32537.

초기화 중 드라이버는 커널 풀에 구조체를 할당합니다. StartDevice (PcAddAdapterDevice의 매개변수)에 의해 호출되는 InitDeviceExtension에서:

EVT 배열은 고정된 크기(63개 요소)를 가집니다. 0x225f04 IOCTL을 드라이버로 보낼 때, 입력의 첫 번째 DWORD가 아무 검증 없이 배열 인덱스로 사용됩니다:

Crash는 KSPIN_LOCK 포인터 &mevts->array[input_index](범위를 벗어난)를 사용하여 KeAcquireSpinLockRaiseToDpc를 호출합니다.
이로 인해 input_index를 0xaaaaaaaa로 설정할 때 다음과 같은 BSoD가 발생합니다:
