
Proof-of-concept per la vulnerabilità XSS memorizzata nel firmware del router Asus DSL-N14U, con payload di exploit e elenco di oltre 70 pagine ASP vulnerabili per test di sicurezza.
Non abbiamo ancora testato modelli Asus diversi da quelli elencati. Tuttavia sospettiamo che possa funzionare anche su altri modelli con la stessa versione del firmware.
DSL-N14U_B1 V.1.1.2.3_805
Nel router Asus DSL-N14U-B1 1.1.2.3_805 è stata scoperta una vulnerabilità di cross-site scripting (XSS) memorizzato, sfruttabile tramite i parametri "*list" (ad es. filter_lwlist, keyword_rulelist, ecc.) in ogni pagina ".asp" che contiene un elenco di stringhe memorizzate (ad es. Advanced_Firewall_Content.asp, Advanced_KeywordFilter_Content.asp).
Tramite un parametro *list (ad es. filter_lwlist, keyword_rulelist, ecc.) in ogni pagina ".asp" contenente un elenco di stringhe memorizzate (ad es. Advanced_Firewall_Content.asp, Advanced_KeywordFilter_Content.asp), le funzioni tcWebApi_get e TCWebApi_get vengono eseguite per generare codice JavaScript dinamico.

Nel pannello web di questo router sono presenti molti elenchi di stringhe inviati dall'utente (ad es. per specificare un elenco di IP in blacklist, un elenco di ip:porta da inoltrare, ecc.) e in ogni pagina testata è stato possibile eseguire XSS.
