ptcpdump est un analyseur de paquets compatible tcpdump, propulsé par eBPF, qui annote automatiquement les paquets avec les métadonnées du processus/conteneur/pod lorsque cela est détectable. Inspiré par jschwinger233/skbdump.

    • 🔍 Capture de paquets avec connaissance des processus/conteneurs/pods.
    • 📦 Filtre par : --pid (processus), --pname (nom de processus), --container-id (conteneur), --pod-name (pod).
    • 🎯 Options compatibles avec tcpdump (-i, -w, -c, -s, -n, -C, -W, -A, et plus).
    • 📜 Prend en charge la syntaxe pcap-filter(7) comme tcpdump.

    Installation

    Vous pouvez télécharger l'exécutable lié statiquement pour x86_64 et arm64 depuis la page des versions.

    Prérequis

    Noyau Linux >= 5.2 (compilé avec le support BPF et BTF).

    ptcpdump nécessite optionnellement debugfs. Il doit être monté dans /sys/kernel/debug. Si le dossier est vide, il peut être monté avec :

    Construction

    La construction de ptcpdump comporte deux étapes principales : la génération du bytecode eBPF (facultative si vous ne modifiez pas le code eBPF) et la compilation de l'application Go.

    1. Construire les programmes eBPF (Optionnel)

    Cette étape compile le code eBPF C situé dans le répertoire bpf/ en bytecode pour plusieurs architectures cibles (amd64, arm64, arm). Le bytecode généré est ensuite intégré dans l'exécutable Go final ptcpdump. Vous n'avez besoin d'effectuer cette étape que si vous modifiez le code source eBPF ou si les fichiers pré-générés sont manquants.

    • Construction native : nécessite que Clang/LLVM soit installé localement.

    • Avec Docker : utilisez cette méthode si vous ne disposez pas de la chaîne d'outils de construction C localement. Elle utilise une image de développement préconfigurée.

    2. Construire l'exécutable ptcpdump

    Après vous être assuré que le bytecode eBPF a été généré (ou en utilisant les fichiers pré-générés), vous pouvez compiler l'application Go principale.

    • Construction statique (Recommandée) : Cette méthode construit ptcpdump avec toutes ses dépendances, y compris une version intégrée de libpcap (provenant du sous-module lib/libpcap), liée statiquement dans l'exécutable final. Cela produit un binaire portable sans dépendances externes de bibliothèques. C'est la méthode par défaut et recommandée.

      • Construction native : cette commande compile d'abord la libpcap intégrée puis construit l'exécutable statique ptcpdump.

Cela produit un exécutable plus petit mais nécessite que libpcap soit présent sur le système cible.
