El HackSys Extreme Vulnerable Driver (HEVD) es un driver del kernel de Windows que es intencionalmente vulnerable. Ha sido desarrollado para investigadores de seguridad y entusiastas para mejorar sus habilidades en explotación a nivel de kernel.

HEVD ofrece una gama de vulnerabilidades, desde simples desbordamientos de búfer en la pila hasta problemas más complejos como use-after-free, desbordamientos de búfer en el pool y condiciones de carrera. Esto permite a los investigadores explorar técnicas de explotación para cada vulnerabilidad implementada.
