SecureCivic is a citizen-built, open source identity verification platform designed to enable the Social Security Administration (SSA) to adopt a modern, privacy-first verification system. It removes reliance on private data brokers and middlemen by enabling secure, real-time identity verification with strong cryptographic protections, fraud detection, and citizen-controlled identity security tools.
SecureCivic is designed to be fully transparent, auditable, and continuously improved through open source collaboration under the AGPL-3.0+ license.
