Zusammenfassung
Im Linux-Kernel wurde die folgende Schwachstelle behoben: dst: Behebung von Race Conditions in rt6_uncached_list_del() und rt_del_uncached_list() syzbot konnte den Kernel auf interessante Weise in rt6_uncached_list_flush_dev() zum Absturz bringen [1] Der Absturz passiert in list_del_init()/INIT_LIST_HEAD() beim Schreiben von list->prev, während das vorherige Schreiben auf list->next gut verlief. static inline void INIT_LIST_HEAD(struct list_head *list) { WRITE_ONCE(list->next, list); // Dies verlief gut WRITE_ONCE(list->prev, list); // Absturz, @list wurde freigegeben. } Das Problem hier ist, dass rt6_uncached_list_del() nicht versuchte, ul->lock zu sperren, da list_empty(&rt->dst.rt_uncached) true zurückgab, weil das WRITE_ONCE(list->next, list) auf der anderen CPU stattfand. Wir könnten list_del_init_careful() und list_empty_careful() verwenden oder sicherstellen, dass rt6_uncached_list_del() immer den Spinlock erfasst, wenn rt->dst.rt_uncached_list gesetzt wurde. Eine ähnliche Korrektur ist für IPv4 erforderlich.
