Symantec Altiris Notification Server (NS) 6.0 (R12より前)、Symantec Altiris Deployment Solution 6.9 SP3 の Deployment Server 6.8 および 6.9、ならびに Symantec Management Platform (SMP) 7.0 (SP3より前) に含まれる AeXNSConsoleUtilities.dll 内の Altiris eXpress NS ConsoleUtilities ActiveX コントロール 6.0.0.1846 の BrowseAndSaveFile メソッドにはスタックベースのバッファオーバーフローが存在し、リモートの攻撃者が第2引数の長い文字列を介して任意のコードを実行できる可能性があります。
