0. TL;DR

Il s'agit essentiellement d'une vulnérabilité statistique : elle nécessite un grand nombre de tentatives pour gagner la condition de course et exécuter avec succès du code arbitraire. Les attaquants doivent surmonter de nombreux obstacles, a déclaré Schwartz à SecurityWeek. Même dans le meilleur des cas, les vulnérabilités les plus connues prennent plus de 4 heures à s'exécuter.

Dans les notes de version d'OpenSSH 9.8, les développeurs ont indiqué que la vulnérabilité n'a été confirmée que sur les systèmes Linux 32 bits basés sur glibc et ont noté qu'OpenBSD n'est pas affecté.

1. Configuration de l'environnement

2. Vérification de la vulnérabilité

2.1. POC en C

Il en existe un disponible publiquement, mais il nécessite une compilation. Le code est lié dans les liens associés. Je l'ai converti en Python, ajouté de la concurrence multi-thread pour améliorer la vitesse d'attaque, et ajouté un nombre de tentatives de 100 000 avec sortie en cas d'attaque réussie.

Laissez-le simplement s'exécuter - cela pourrait prendre jusqu'à la fin des temps pour obtenir un shell root.
