WhatBreach est un outil OSINT qui simplifie la tâche de découvrir dans quelles brèches une adresse e-mail a été trouvée. WhatBreach propose un moyen simple et efficace de rechercher plusieurs adresses e-mail ou une seule, et de découvrir toutes les brèches connues dans lesquelles cet e-mail est apparu. À partir de là, WhatBreach peut télécharger la base de données si elle est accessible au public, télécharger les pastes où l'e-mail a été vu, ou rechercher le domaine de l'e-mail pour une enquête plus approfondie. Pour accomplir cette tâche avec succès, WhatBreach utilise les sites web et/ou API suivants :

Pass a single email to scan for

Pass a file containing emails one per line to scan
search opts:
-nD, --no-dehashed Suppres dehashed output
-nP, --no-pastebin Suppress Pastebin output
-sH, --search-hunter Search hunter.io with a provided email address and
query for all information, this will process all
emails found as normal
-wL, --search-weleakinfo
Search weleakinfo.com as well as HIBP for results
misc opts:
-dP, --download-pastes
Download pastes associated with the email address
found (if any)
-vH, --verify-hunter Verify the emails found on hunter.io for deliverable
status
-cT, --check-ten-minute
Check if the provided email address is a ten minute
email or not
-d, --download Attempt to download the database if there is one
available
-s DIRECTORY-PATH, --save-dir DIRECTORY-PATH
Pass a directory to save the downloaded databases into
instead of the `HOME` path
--throttle TIME Throttle the HIBP requests to help prevent yourself
from being blocked

L'installation est extrêmement simple, il suffit d'exécuter pip install -r requirements.txt
Durant mon parcours dans les technologies de l'information, lors de recherches et d'OSINT, j'ai remarqué le besoin de trouver des adresses e-mail ainsi que leurs mots de passe. J'ai trouvé des outils fiables qui font cela avec succès et rendent le processus rapide et facile, mais je n'ai pas trouvé d'outil qui réponde exactement à mes besoins. Cet outil est essentiellement ma propre vision de la façon dont la recherche d'e-mails devrait fonctionner, intégrant également la recherche et le téléchargement de bases de données. Quelle meilleure façon de s'introduire dans un e-mail que d'avoir le mot de passe possible ainsi que toutes les brèches connues dans lesquelles il a été vu ?
