This project does not contain any personal data such as email addresses, names, phone numbers. Passwords are listed only for academic purposes. It is not possible to associate passwords with real people.

Turkish Wordlist

This is a study conducted for the analysis of password choices of Turkish users. It was carried out using the method of identifying Turkish words within email and password data leaked on the internet.

Files

wordlist.txt A ready-to-use password list with duplicate lines removed. Contains two types of passwords:

• Passwords that contain a Turkish word. (For example: 123besiktas123)

• Passwords used by email addresses that contain a Turkish word. (For example: [email protected] - 38409282)

To avoid conflicts, all passwords have been saved in lowercase. It is recommended to use Hashcat rules to diversify in hash cracking attacks.

count.txt A statistical dataset listing the most used passwords.

corpus.txt Turkish word corpus. The words here were searched within leaked data.
