Whale Watcher

NOTE: repo is transitioning to a full featured trading bot, openclaw like agent that you talk in your telegram with power yo deploy a team of agents to perform research before making a decision.

A Rust CLI tool that monitors large transactions on Polymarket and Kalshi prediction markets. Real-time alerts for significant market activity with built-in anomaly detection.

Repository: https://github.com/neur0map/polymaster

DISCLAIMER

This tool is for informational and research purposes only. Use this data solely for informed decision-making and market analysis.

Features

Core Monitoring

  • Real-time monitoring of Polymarket and Kalshi transactions
  • Kalshi WebSocket for instant trade detection (HTTP polling fallback)
  • Polymarket server-side filtering — API pre-filters whale trades, no wasted bandwidth
  • Customizable threshold (default $25,000) and polling interval
  • Audio alerts with triple beep for repeat actors
  • Market category filtering (10 categories, 35+ subcategories)
  • Platform selection (Polymarket only, Kalshi only, or both)

Whale Intelligence (Polymarket)

  • Whale profiles — portfolio value, leaderboard rank, profit, win rate, open positions
  • Leaderboard lookup — checks if wallet is in top 500 Polymarket traders
  • 12-hour wallet memory — detects returning whales, position doubling, and whale flips
  • Top holders — shows top 5 holders and their share concentration per market
  • Profiles cached 30 min, leaderboard cached 1 hour

Market Intelligence

  • Order book depth for both platforms (Polymarket CLOB + Kalshi orderbook)
  • Market context — YES/NO odds, spread, 24h volume, open interest, price change, liquidity
  • Native Kalshi categories from API (more accurate than keyword matching)
  • Polymarket tags extracted from Gamma API
  • Anomaly detection for extreme bets, contrarian positions, and large capital

Wallet Tracking

  • Elevated alerts for repeat actors (2+ txns in 1 hour)
  • High priority alerts for heavy actors (5+ txns in 24 hours)
  • Tracks volume and transaction frequency per wallet
  • Returning whale detection (doubling down, flipping positions)
  • SQLite-backed persistent wallet memory across restarts

Integrations

  • Webhook notifications to n8n, Zapier, Make, Discord, or any endpoint
  • Rich JSON payload with market context, whale profile, order book, and top holders
  • Scoring MCP server for alert scoring and preference filtering

Infrastructure

  • SQLite database for alert history and wallet memory
  • Configurable data retention (7, 30, 90 days, or forever)
  • 6-step guided setup wizard
  • No API keys required for basic functionality (all public data)
  • Fast and efficient, built with Rust

Quick Start

root@kitploit:~
git clone https://github.com/neur0map/polymaster.git
cd polymaster
cargo install --path .
wwatcher watch

That's it. No API keys needed — all data comes from public endpoints. You'll see whale alerts in your terminal within seconds.

Run wwatcher setup to configure platforms, categories, thresholds, webhooks, and optional API keys.

See QUICKSTART.md for detailed setup instructions and webhook integration.

Installation

From Source

root@kitploit:~
git clone https://github.com/neur0map/polymaster.git
cd polymaster
cargo build --release

The binary will be at target/release/wwatcher. Or install it system-wide:

root@kitploit:~
cargo install --path .

API Information

wwatcher uses 15 API endpoints across 3 Polymarket APIs, 1 Kalshi REST API, and 1 Kalshi WebSocket. See docs/API_REFERENCE.md for complete endpoint documentation.

Polymarket (3 APIs, no auth required)

APIBase URLEndpoints Used
Data API

Kalshi (REST + WebSocket)

APIBase URLEndpoints Used
REST APIapi.elections.kalshi.com/trade-api/v2markets/trades, markets/{ticker}, markets/{ticker}/orderbook
WebSocketwss://api.elections.kalshi.com/trade-api/ws/v2trade channel (real-time)

All endpoints are public — no API keys needed. For enhanced Kalshi access, run wwatcher setup.

Webhook Integration

wwatcher sends rich JSON payloads to any webhook URL with: market context, whale profile, order book depth, top holders, and wallet activity.

See docs/WEBHOOK_REFERENCE.md for:

  • Complete payload schema with all fields
  • n8n Telegram/Discord message templates
  • Filter examples (heavy actors, top 100 whales, exits only)
  • Computed fields (whale quality score, bid/ask imbalance)

Alert Example

When a whale transaction is detected, you'll see enriched output:

root@kitploit:~

Troubleshooting

No configuration found warning

This is normal. The tool works without configuration using public APIs. Run wwatcher setup only if you want to add Kalshi authentication.

API errors

  • Polymarket: Public endpoint should work without issues
  • Kalshi: Public endpoint works without auth, but rate limits may apply

Rate Limiting

If you're getting rate limited:

  • Increase the --interval to poll less frequently
  • For Kalshi: Add API credentials via wwatcher setup

Contributors

Thanks to these contributors for their ideas and improvements:

  • @fuzmik - Suggested alert history logging feature

Integration (MCP)

wwatcher includes a scoring MCP server with two tools: score_alert and check_preferences. No API keys required.

See integration/README.md for setup and tool details.

Prowl Bot (Planned)

A conversational Telegram bot with a multi-agent prediction market team. The bot talks to you, analyzes whale alerts, and can place trades on Kalshi and Polymarket after your approval.

See docs/plans/2026-02-25-prowl-bot-design.md for the full design document.

Architecture

                              ▼
                    Executor (Kalshi + Polymarket)
  • Manager — conversational AI with personality (soul.md), persistent memory, and skills. Delegates to team.
  • Researcher — gathers market data, news, sentiment (ONNX)
  • Analyst — reads wwatcher whale history, scores alerts, detects patterns
  • Risk — evaluates position sizing, bankroll management
  • Executor — places trades after your approval

Each agent has its own soul (personality), skills (instructions), and memory (SQLite partition). Cloud LLMs for reasoning (OpenRouter), local models for cheap tasks (Ollama), ONNX for ML (sentiment, reranking, time series).

Roadmap

Continual Learning

The bot collects predictions from day one. When markets resolve, it builds training data automatically. Fine-tune a local 7B model (MLX on Mac, free) that gets better at your specific markets over time. Based on Turtel et al. 2025 — same approach that matched o1 accuracy on Polymarket with a 14B model.
