How to Hack a Tesla? — Interactive Scenario Application

This project is an interactive cybersecurity scenario based on a real vulnerability discovered by the security firm Synacktiv (TPMS → VCSEC → CAN Bus chain). The scenario aims to teach how a Tesla Model 3 could be compromised through a vulnerable protocol in 2024 by dramatizing the process.

The narrative progresses through time and story events. It advances based on user choices. It aims to raise awareness about cyber-physical system security.

Objective

Through this scenario, the following concepts are taught in a gamified manner:

  • TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) protocol
  • Integer Overflow vulnerability
  • CAN Bus architecture
  • VCSEC (Vehicle Security Module)

To Start

  1. Python 3 must be installed.
  2. Run from terminal or command line:
root@kitploit:~
